Art, Design, Architecture, History Research Programs
On-Site Research in Europe’s Cultural Capitals
This program takes students to cities like Paris, Florence, London, and Venice (including the Venice Biennale) to study art, design, and architecture where it was created.
Students conduct on-site research connecting historical art movements—such as Impressionism or the Renaissance with contemporary artists, designers, and architects working today.
Each student selects a future major or field of interest (fine art, fashion, architecture, product design, etc.) and builds a research project around it, supported by lectures, museum visits, and field analysis.
The final product is a written and visual research paper published through Oogie Art Press, ideal for college supplements or future graduate school applications.
This is a unique opportunity to develop deep knowledge, independent thinking, and cultural awareness through direct experience with the world’s most influential art sites.
