Oogie Art Junior Program
In 2025, Oogie Art proudly launches the Oogie Art Junior Program, built on 26 years of expertise in guiding students to success in college admissions. Through this program, we address the need for a strong foundation built early, rather than a rushed, last-minute portfolio approach. We’ve seen how students from other institutions often face challenges with college completion or career readiness, highlighting the importance of a thoughtful, well-rounded foundation.
At Oogie Art, our unique 50:50 educational model combines the strengths of both Asian and American art education, allowing students to develop both technical skills and creative, concept-driven thinking. We believe this balance represents the ideal modern art education and have designed our curriculum to reflect this philosophy.
The Oogie Art Junior Program provides a customized, one-on-one curriculum tailored to each student’s individual goals. Every three months, we conduct consultations to assess and adapt each student's curriculum, ensuring that their work is both unique and meaningful. Just as a parent prepares a meal to suit their child’s specific needs, we tailor each step of our approach to meet each student’s unique goals.
Through our program, students are encouraged to explore and broaden their perspectives. By 8th or 9th grade, they are prepared to either pursue art college admissions or use their art as a distinctive extracurricular activity with a supplemental portfolio for college applications.
