About Oogie Art Programs
Why Choose Oogie Art?
Some students possess natural artistic talent but may not fully express their abilities depending on the guidance they receive. Others may not be inherently skilled but, with the right instruction, can surpass their own expectations. At Oogie Art, we help students maximize their potential and achieve admission to the colleges of their dreams. We have successfully guided over 100 students into 8 Ivy League schools, MIT, Stanford, and Brown+RISD, among others.
We use insights from thousands of student portfolios to inspire creative ideas, and we offer daily drawing practice text messages with our teachers to build foundational skills. As a result, we help students secure merit-based scholarships through their art portfolios.
At the end of each semester, Oogie Art holds a Parent Conference to review each student's progress and plan for the upcoming semester. We typically finalize summer plans during the January conference. Our meticulous portfolio tracking system ensures that we set specific, achievable goals for each student, contributing to our unparalleled success in college admissions.
What’s the difference between the Summer Intensive Program and the Summer Weekly Program?
Intensive Program: Classes run Monday through Saturday, with morning sessions (10 AM - 2 PM) and afternoon sessions (2:30 PM - 6:30 PM). Students can choose multiple classes and, with continuous focus, produce high-quality works. During the summer, students can finalize or nearly complete their portfolios (if they already have a strong foundation).
Weekly Program: Students can choose morning (10 AM - 2 PM) or afternoon (2:30 PM - 6:30 PM) classes flexibly.
