International Migration Art Festival Assistantship

Oogie Art students had the unique opportunity to assist with the International Migration Art Festival, hosted at Wook + Lattuada Gallery. This event, organized by an Italian nonprofit, was a platform for showcasing diverse Italian contemporary artwork and performances related to migration. Our students actively contributed by assisting in the installation, and management of the event, working closely with both artists and attendees.

This experience not only provided them with hands-on gallery management skills but also offered a deeper understanding of art's role in social issues like migration. Our students’ involvement exemplified how art can open conversations about pressing global issues while creating impactful cultural moments.
